TEACHER OF COMPUTER SCIENCE  

For January 2018 we are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of Computer Science for this oversubscribed comprehensive school with a long record of high student achievement.      

This year 74% of students gained A*-C grades in English and Maths at GCSE, and our motivated students make excellent progress. Last year OFSTED graded the school as outstanding in all areas and commented “Students have outstanding attitudes to learning and take a pride in their work”. The Computing Department is successful and the subject is very popular at A Level.  The ability to teach Computing to A Level is essential.  

Applicants should be keenly interested in how children learn, as well as committed to equal opportunities and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. The school offers staff excellent resources in a state-of-the-art building, a wide ranging professional development programme and support for career progression. The post would suit either an NQT or a more experienced teacher.
