We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Computer Science. As a member of the maths and computing department you will be teaching computer science to all key stages including GCSE and BTEC Level 3 Computing. Pupils study computer science from year 7, starting with Scratch, then moving on to learn Python, HTML and java-script programming languages alongside hardware, software and network topics. The subject is very popular and well-resourced with seven computer rooms including two MAC suites. Pupils also have access to Codecademy, Codio, Scratch and App Inventor.
For an exceptional and inspiring newly qualified teacher, there will be the opportunity to be paid on a full qualified salary from 1st July 2019 to develop the resources you will use to inspire our students from September 2019.
