We are looking for an enthusiastic, outstanding teacher of Computer Science who will inspire our students to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will be a hard-working and inspirational teacher who can motivate students to succeed; they will be a reflective practitioner with a desire to continually develop their own skills and demonstrate a good underpinning knowledge of teaching and learning.
Macmillan Academy is situated in Middlesbrough on Teesside. It is a good school with over 1600 students on roll including around 350 in Post 16. Our strong reputation for academic success is matched by our desire to provide a holistic education for every student. We will make a commitment to providing you with the highest quality CPD within the Academy, to ensure you are always at the forefront of innovative teaching and learning.
At Macmillan Academy we have a dedicated ICT and computer science department with excellent resources comprising of 8 IT suites. We teach a range of different skills and qualifications in both across key stage 3, 4 and 5. The staff in the department can offer opportunities for training and personal development.

Macmillan Academy is an academy based in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, England.
The school was founded in 1989 as the Macmillan City Technology College, one of the first of 15 City Technology Colleges established in England. The school converted to academy status in 2006. and is now part of Endeavour Academies Trust.
We are a 11-18 Academy & 6th form college, and offer a huge range of courses and opportunities to our students and staff.
