Computer Science is a popular subject at the sixth form, with exceptional progression to University.  We are looking for an inspirational teacher to join a high performing department and who will inspire a passion for Computer Science in our motivated and highly engaged students. Newcastle Sixth Form College is the largest provider of A Levels in Newcastle-upon -Tyne with over 1200 students on a full time academic programme. Our A Level progress score puts us in the top 25% of all schools and colleges nationally with many subjects in the top 10%.

At Newcastle Sixth Form College we want to enable teachers to be their best; our standard full-time teacher is responsible for four blocks of subject teaching (20 hours) and an hour of enrichment per week. In addition to this we offer pay, terms and conditions commensurate with schools and sixth form colleges.
