An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented teacher of Computer Science to join our successful team at Selby High School. We are looking for somebody with outstanding skills and knowledge in Computer Science, and this role is suitable for an exceptional NQT, or a more experienced practitioner. For a candidate with the right skill-set there is also the opportunity for a generous TLR allowance to lead the Business and Computer Studies team. We are a dynamic and forward thinking school, and we are looking to attract a strong field; the precise nature of the role will be discussed as part of the selection process based on the candidate’s skills and experience.
At Selby High School, we offer you a supportive school environment where students achieve and make sustained progress as a result of our ‘can do’ ethos and where your contribution to the Computer Studies team, and the school as a whole, will be valued. Working in a friendly, aspirational school community, we invite you to join us in our commitment to inspire every student with the skills, resilience, independence and confidence they need to achieve their potential. As a teacher within the school, we have an extensive CPD programme to support you in your career. We also provide all our staff with a laptop computer and tablet device.
Excellent learning and teaching is at the heart of all that we do and is supported with a full professional development programme and outstanding induction programme.
