The post and the department

This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and exceptional teacher to join a thriving and growing Computer Science department. The post has arisen due to the expansion of our International School and increasing numbers opting to take Computer Science at A Level.  You will work alongside the Director of Computing and two other teachers. Classes are small, with a maximum of 10 students at A Level and IGCSE. In the International School, Computing is an option at IGCSE both for those joining in year 10 for a two-year course and those joining in Y11 for an accelerated one-year course. Computer Science is an increasingly popular option in the sixth form (currently 24 in year 12) and recent results have been very good. We teach the AQA specification, opting for the Python module.

This is a part-time position (approx. 0.4-0.5), starting in September 2020.
