Teacher of Computer Science - Recruitment and retention allowance available

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Computer Science to join our established and successful team to start September 2021. A recruitment & retention allowance will also be awarded to an outstanding candidate.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach Computer Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.  Computer Science is a core subject for all pupils across Key Stage 3 and is an important component of our personal development curriculum at Key Stage 4.  It is our intention to work with the successful candidate to develop the curriculum and prepare students to study an appropriate Level 2 qualification in Computer Science in future years, representing an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in this key area.

Applications are welcomed from individuals with successful training or teaching experience, underpinned by a broad base of subject knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge. In addition, we are seeking candidates with a passion for engaging and motivating students to develop a love of learning and achieve their potential.
