Tes is supporting the appointment of a Teacher of Computer Science to join a High School based in Warsaw, Poland.
They are looking for a dynamic, academically-driven teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a amazing School community, which is already a well-established international school in its seventh year of operation. The school boasts a vibrant academic environment with fantastic faculty members and a supportive administrative team.
About the job:
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is excited by the prospect of contributing to the development of the school curriculum, specifically within the area of Computer Science.
You will teach Computer Science to students aged 14-18, across a range of assessed courses and A Level.
The full-time teaching commitment is 20 hours of instruction per week with generous time allowances built into the timetable to facilitate effective preparation, marking, and report writing. The maximum class size is 12, which allows their students to benefit from more focused and personalised teaching. Teachers are expected to either be involved in pastoral care (tutoring of a small group) or supporting student clubs and co-curricular activities. The regular school week is from Monday to Friday, with occasional school events happening on weekends (e.g. open days, school trips) that teachers may be required to attend.

They are looking for professionals demonstrably committed to pursuing a career in education. The successful candidate will be able to both inspire and widen students’ interests in their subject as well as effectively guide them in exam preparation.
Educational Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science
Experience
- Teaching experience specifically in A Levels or International Baccalaureate
- Thorough knowledge of the subject curricula
- Involvement in extra-curricular activities: robotics, 3D printing, or coding
- Experience managing and leading groups of students/young people
