Job overview

We are seeking an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher of computing and computer science to join our friendly school as we continue to grow.  The successful candidate will join a growing team and teach groups from year 7 to 13.

The computing team are overseen by the head of mathematics at the lower school. 

The post is suitable for a skilled and experienced teacher, or for an ambitious person who is relatively new to teaching and who can see potential in making their mark on this new school. Newly qualified teachers are supported through their induction period in collaboration with ISTIP.

We currently teach computing to years 7-9 and OCR GCSE and A level courses in computer science to students in years 10-13.

There are also opportunities to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school and we enjoy partnerships with facilities right on our doorstep, including sport in Hyde Park, swimming and fitness at the Porchester Centre and even ice-skating at Queen’s ice rink!

Teachers will be offered a great deal of support alongside many opportunities to share resources and good practice.
