This innovative and successful 11-18 school first opened in September 2004 and has grown year on year. Oriel High School is now heavily oversubscribed each year with over 1400 students and was judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2016; it has excellent facilities and is a dynamic learning community.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and well qualified graduate to join our motivated and successful Computing and ICT team. 

The Oriel Computing and ICT department is innovative and forward thinking; it comprises 3 full time staff and is a well resourced department with excellent facilities. 

Both Computing and ICT GCSE are offered at Key Stage 4 and there is successful recruitment onto both A-Level Computing and BTEC National IT courses in the Sixth Form. 

The successful candidate will:

• Be an excellent teacher with the ability to inspire, enthuse and engage learners.
• Be required to teach Computing and ICT across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Be a team player.
