Having appointed exceptional candidates for the first two years of opening, King’s Academy Binfield (KAB) is now looking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and innovative teacher of computing to play an intrinsic role in our new all-through academy in Bracknell Forest.
Our all-through school opened in a superb new building in September 2018 with 120 students, who were joined in September 2019 by a further 150 students year 7 students and nursery through to year 2 students in our two primary phases, KAB and King’s Academy Oakwood (KAO). IT facilities are excellent, with designated computer suites as well as portable ipads and chromebooks which are widely used. The academy uses the full range of the google for education suite and is looking to innovate further in this aspect of our work.
Whilst a main scale role initially, there will be increasing opportunities for leadership roles within the academy as the school expands. Potential is as important as experience. The successful applicant will teach primarily across the secondary phase however there will be opportunities within our primary phase too.
Applicants should be excellent teachers and have the ability to motivate, inspire and lead students to excel. The successful candidate will be a team player and will get stuck in and involve themselves in the wider aspects of academy life. A genuine commitment to our ‘whatever it takes’ ethos is essential to enable every young person at KAB and KAO to thrive.
