Job Title: Teacher of Computing

Responsible to: Head of Cisco Academy

Hours of work: This is currently a 0.4 (2 days) position (Mondays and Tuesdays).

Term time 34 weeks, and occasional days for training/inset outside of the 34

weeks and open days.

Overview of the role:

With a strong emphasis on dyslexia, the post holder will be able to deliver a

balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum to pupils. They will support

subject developments, monitor, assess and report upon pupil progress and

contribute to raising subject standards within the department and the School.

The School is recognised by a specialist and professional association for our work teaching dyslexic pupils; we are accredited by the Council for the Registration of Schools Teaching Dyslexic Pupils (CReSTeD) and hold DSP - Dyslexia Specialist Provision.

The School currently has 240 pupils and since 2014, has been under the ownership of Cavendish Education Ltd.
