The school is looking to appoint a highly motivated and committed teacher to join a collegiate and enthusiastic team. The team consists of 3 full-time teachers delivering Computing/IT to all KS3 with Digital IT, Computer Science and Business taught in KS4; all are popular subjects.
The person appointed will indisputably need to be:

- An energetic and innovative teacher committed to inspiring our students.
- A passionate advocate of Vocational teaching and its importance within the curriculum.

The Hurst School is a successful and highly regarded school of over 1000 students aged 11-16, situated within easy driving distance of Reading, Newbury, and Basingstoke. The school enjoys a semi-rural location and sits on a large site with green surroundings. It was rated “Good” by Ofsted in October 2024.
