Leicester Grammar School is one of the UK's top-performing co-educational HMC independent day schools and the Sunday Times’ East Midlands Independent Secondary School of the Year 2020. 

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher of Computing to join our successful team on a part-time basis (0.5 f.t.e) and to contribute to the wider life of the school. The successful applicant will demonstrate a broad subject knowledge and will be expected to teach Computing up to and including A-level. They will be proficient in programming, with knowledge of at least one language to GCSE standard or beyond. A willingness to develop and enhance programming skills will be expected. Skills in languages such as Python, C#, Java, PHP, MySQL will be an advantage, as well as an interest in robotics. 

A completed application form and curriculum vitae, accompanied by a covering letter addressed to Mr John Watson (Headmaster and Principal of Leicester Grammar School Trust), should reach the school as soon as possible, and no later than 9am on Tuesday 21 April 2020. Interviews by video conferencing will take place shortly afterwards on a date to be arranged.
