This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced and passionate Computing Teacher to work with the type of students who will challenge and inspire you.
Dulwich International High School Suzhou is a very successful high school offering a range of IGCSE and A Levels for 660 students, aged 14 to 18. Most of our students are extremely well motivated, academically able Chinese Nationals who are preparing to gain entry to top universities around the world. Computing is a very popular subject and our students achieve outstanding value added scores and examination results. We offer Computing at IGCSE and A Level; ICT department also contributes significantly to our rich extra-curricular activities programme.
Suzhou is a beautiful old city and is unquestionably one of the cities in China that offers the most favourable and attractive living conditions, located only half an hour away from Shanghai by a convenient and frequent high speed train service. Last August, our school was moving into a large purpose-built campus, alongside our sister school Dulwich College Suzhou and a highly respected local school, Suzhou High School SIP. The new campus offers exceptional facilities, exciting collaboration opportunities and room for further expansion.
DHSZ operates its own highly competitive salary scale and provides allowances for twice annual flights, domestic bills, accommodation, shipping and a good medical insurance scheme. Dulwich International High School Suzhou, also known as SIP Dulwich College United School, was the sixth school to join the Dulwich College International family of schools in 2012. We are made up of over 700 students from age 14 to 19. Although our student body is predominantly Chinese, we are open to all nationalities and have a particularly diverse faculty from over 20 countries. We provide students an academically rigorous, challenging and rewarding international curriculum, designed to offer the very best preparation for entry to universities worldwide.
