Teacher of Computing with Maths

Recently graded good in all areas by OFSTED in November 2019, we are pleased to welcome applications for this post.

The Lakes School is seeking to employ an outstanding teacher of Computing with Maths from September 2020.  This full time permanent post will be for approximately 0.8fte teaching of Computing and 0.2fte contribution to KS3 and KS4 in the Maths department. 

We are a high achieving, fully comprehensive school; a dynamic and innovative centre at the heart of the Lake District where all pupils have the opportunity to achieve within a caring learning community.

We are seeking an outstanding classroom practitioner to teach computing with the commitment and energy to inspire our students.  The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the ability and age range, including A Level in Computing and will join experienced colleagues within the school. Student outcomes in Computing and Maths have remained strong with results consistently reaching above the national average. 

The post would be suitable for either an NQT or more experienced teacher.
