If our principles resonate with you, and you are seeking a new challenge, we’d be delighted to receive your application for the vacancy that has arisen in our highly supportive Social Sciences and Ethics faculty.  Creative curriculum is a thematic curriculum with subjects that may include English, History, Geography and RE.  A subject named Resilience is also taught which empowers students with aspects of self regulation.  We are therefore seeking a primary trained teacher to support the delivery of this subject to year 7.  Please take some time to view the learning sequences or contact us for more information.

This role requires an energetic and dedicated primary or key stage 3 practitioner, who can make a significant contribution to our school community by engaging, enthusing and challenging staff and students to achieve their very best in the subject. You will have excellent subject knowledge and be well-informed on current educational developments and initiatives.  The support you will receive at Witton Park in developing your practice will be invaluable to your future career.

You would be joining a team of colleagues who are passionate about ensuring that all pupils enjoy the subject and are focused on securing the best outcomes for our students. We work collaboratively to share good practice, both within the department and across the school as a whole. Being a BSF and Google accredited school, we are very well-resourced with Promethean whiteboards and Chromebooks, with lesson being taught in modern, spacious classrooms.

The diverse curriculum offered at Witton Park supports a high up take for EBacc and option subjects. Outcomes for pupils in 2016 were judged to be good by Ofsted. The Ofsted report and website will give you a flavour for other aspects of the school.
