There may be an opportunity to teach other subjects depending on experience and background e.g. Law, Sociology, Psychology.

Staffed by a very friendly and enthusiastic group of teachers who work closely together under the guidance of the Director of Learning, the Social Sciences department offers a broad range of courses to accommodate our student’s interests. At present we have 7 Criminology teachers who also teach across the range of courses offered by the department. Approximately 276 students are studying criminology, across both year groups. Numbers are expected to rise significantly in the forthcoming academic year. We’re currently looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join our dedicated team.
Our priorities are to maintain and extend our examination success and to maintain high levels of student satisfaction and achievement. We seek to ensure that we provide students with a high-quality experience of learning that is innovative, interesting and challenging and helps them acquire the skills and knowledge essential for their progression. About Queen Mary's College
Queen Mary’s College is a large progressive and successful sixth form college, conveniently situated close to the centre of Basingstoke in thirty acres of parkland and playing fields. The College has excellent facilities, including the Central Studio (a professional theatre), and a purpose built sports centre for students, staff and local residents, including a swimming pool and two floodlit artificial sports pitches .
