We are looking to appoint an engaging and committed Teacher of Dance to join our highly effective Performing Arts Faculty in September 2023.
This post offers an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified and organised teacher, to work within an innovative and successful Faculty. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated professional, who has a real love for their subject and the capacity to use creative approaches in their teaching. We have a hardworking, specialist department with a friendly and supportive team ethos. This post would suit a well-qualified teacher or an ECT looking for a supportive school with an excellent mentoring programme. This post is full-time.
Our ideal candidate will be a committed practitioner who shares our vision and ethos. You will be PGCE qualified, with the ability to teach Dance across all the Key Stages. The applicant should have experience of teaching KS3, GCSE, BTEC and A Level Dance. Dance is a popular subject at the school. The Dance department has achieved excellent GCSE and A Level results over the years and offers a range of opportunities and extracurricular activities. We are looking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic specialist dance teacher to join our very successful Dance Department.
A willingness to be involved in extracurricular and outreach activities is essential as dance clubs, competitions, liturgies and shows take place throughout the year.
The successful candidate will be joining one of the most exciting English departments in the country and will have the opportunity to continue to develop professionally in a well led and supportive environment. Our Academy is a learning community of outstanding teachers and staff who wish to make a positive difference to the young people we serve. This vacancy has arisen due to expansion of the College and oversubscription for Year 7 places.
