About the Role

The Pendleton School of Theatre at Pendleton Sixth Form College have an exciting opportunity for an inspirational Dance Teacher experienced in delivering A-Level and vocational courses, to drive forward the learner experience and promote the highest levels of achievement.

Working within the Performing Arts department, you will be joining a team of people who are dedicated to supporting students to achieve outstanding outcomes. The successful candidate must be an excellent practitioner who shares our passion for creativity, education and raising aspirations. We pride ourselves on the quality of our provision and the high expectations we have of ourselves and our students. The department delivers BTEC Dance and Musical Theatre, HNC Musical Theatre and A level Dance as well as a wide range of enrichment initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven record of delivering Dance at post-16 and should be a classically trained practitioner with the ability to successfully teach a range of dance styles on the various courses.
