Nathan Jackson, Resistant Materials/Product Design Technology NQT+1

Fullbrook is a mixed 11-18 Academy classified by Ofsted in March 2017 as Good. In 2017, 84% of students achieved five or more GCSEs at 4+ including English and Maths.

At Fullbrook we believe that all students should be challenged to achieve more than they ever thought possible, and offer a variety of extra-curricular activities, including the Duke of Edinburgh scheme to enhance our students’ talents.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Design & Technology with a specialism in resistant materials and ability to teach other technology areas at KS3 to join a forward thinking faculty where 83% of students achieved A*-C at GCSE in design technology last year, while follow on study in A Level Product Design, Graphics and Textiles are popular choices for students.

The Design & Technology Faculty is a well resourced faculty which consists of an innovative and vibrant team who are dedicated to raising achievement and providing students with an outstanding education.

Fullbrook offers an innovative, fully tailored CPD programme which supports the needs of staff and encourages progression.

Whether you’re an experienced teacher wishing to broaden your experience, or an ambitious and dynamic NQT, we want to hear from you.

As a leading member of the Guildford Education Partnership Multi-academy Trust (GEP), Fullbrook works closely with George Abbot and other partner schools to share expertise and resources to ensure a broad curriculum provision and high quality teaching.
