Ulverston Victoria High School is a happy and thriving 11-18 school and sixth form and is at the heart of the community in the picturesque South Lakeland market town of Ulverston.

We wish to appoint, with effect from 1st September 2019, an inspiring, innovative and creative teacher to join our forward thinking Design and Technology Department. The Faculty is a lively and exciting place to be, with a team of 12 enthusiastic and committed teachers.  This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and dynamic newly qualified teacher or existing practitioner to play a pivotal role in a high-performing Design and Technology Faculty.

The successful candidate will be clearly in tune with our values and our ethos of “children first” and be totally committed to providing an exciting and rewarding experience in Design and Technology for all our students regardless of their academic ability.  This is an ideal opportunity for an NQT or experienced teacher, who has lots of potential, to develop into an exceptional practitioner over the next few years, as part of a high performing team.   A full and appropriate induction programme is available for all NQTs.
