Teacher of Design and Technology for September 2017

A full-time, well-qualified and creative teacher is required to teach Year 7,8,9, GCSE and A level Design and Technology.

The department offers a stimulating and vibrant programme of resistant materials, graphics, product design and achieves 100% A-C pass rate at A level and GCSE. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate an innovative and effective teaching style and to have excellent subject knowledge of design and technology. A strong honours degree and a teaching qualification are required along with relevant work experience in teaching or industry. 

This opportunity could suit an newly-qualified teacher looking for experience in a forward-looking environment or a more experienced teacher seeking an opportunity for professional development. A willingness to contribute to the co-curricular and pastoral life of the School is essential.
