Tes is supporting the appointment of a Teacher of Design and Technology to join a High School based in Lewisham.
The High School is looking for a well-qualified teacher to join their highly successful Design and Technology department in their high achieving School.
As a Teacher of Design and Technology, you will plan, prepare and deliver engaging DT lessons to their independent and inquisitive learners, ensuring that they fulfil their potential in the subject and are sufficiently equipped for life beyond school.
You will be an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher with excellent computer design skills, who possesses previous experience of teaching across KS3 to KS5. Excellent professional and subject knowledge is essential, along with strong practical skills and workshop experience. You will also be capable of teaching CAD/CAM.

The Design and Technology department is vibrant and forward-thinking, with passionate, dedicated staff and students. This is an exciting time to join the DT department, as they look forward to the new build from Summer 2026, when they will be upgrading and rehousing the department in a modern and exciting environment, ensuring they remain abreast of new technologies and innovations.
