St John’s Marlborough is one of the highest performing academies in the country and a key member of the highly effective Excalibur Academies Trust.  A rare opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic permanent, part time teacher of Design and Technology to join a very high achieving department, NQT’s are welcome to apply.  The successful candidate will be a passionate, creative, outstanding practitioner who is confident teaching across the ability range for all key stages.  


The D&T department is highly successful with a positive atmosphere and you will need to be a strong team player with the ability to inspire, challenge and motivate students.  Students study D&T at KS3, Graphics, Food and Resistant Materials. For GCSE students may choose Design and Technology, Textiles, Food & Nutrition, Hospitality & Catering or Graphics. For A level/level 3 we offer Product Design, Food Science and Nutrition.

The successful candidate will be able to teach a range of specialisms at KS3 and be able to offer at least one specialism at KS4.
