TEACHER OF DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY (RMT & Graphics) 

For January 2019 we are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher of D & T for this oversubscribed comprehensive school with a long record of high student achievement.      

This year 73% of students gained 9-5 grades in both English and Maths at GCSE, and our motivated students make excellent progress. OFSTED graded the school outstanding in all areas and commented “Students have outstanding attitudes to learning and take a pride in their work”. D & T subjects are popular and successful options at GCSE with RMT, Graphics, Food and Textiles all offered. 

The ability to deliver RMT and Graphics to GCSE level is essential.  Applicants should be keenly interested in how children learn, as well as committed to equal opportunities and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. The school offers staff excellent resources in a state-of-the-art building, a wide ranging professional development programme and support for career progression.
