We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and innovative Teacher of Design and Technology to join this successful department and teach up to and including A Level.
This is an excellent opportunity for both NQTs as well as more experienced teachers. NQTs will be actively supported with an established and extensive NQT programme and you will have access to many professional development opportunities. We are as committed to your development as we will expect you to be to the progress of your students.
You will have strong subject knowledge and be a reflective practitioner who embraces emerging technologies and has passionate enthusiasm for teaching and Design.
Furthermore, you will be required to teach across ability and age ranges, delivering digital design/graphics, electronics, resistant materials at KS3, and specialist knowledge of Design Technology & Product Design at KS4/5. Due to the balanced and experienced nature of our department, there is flexibility if your specialism is not an exact match. The ability to deliver some Art may be an advantage.
