Teacher of Design and Technology
(Required for September 2018)
St Edmund’s College is seeking to appoint a full-time, ambitious and enthusiastic teacher of DT.
Design and Technology is taught throughout the School, delivered to all students in Key Stage 3 and then as an option at GCSE and A Level. With small class sizes, DT is taught on the ground floor of the College in a spacious purpose built workshop, and an adjacent supplementary classroom. The department has many links with local industry and successful projects have been underpinned by working with outside professionals.
Applications from new entrants to the profession or from more experienced teachers are equally welcome. St Edmund’s College is a vibrant and exciting environment in which to teach. The successful candidate will welcome the many opportunities to contribute to the lively extra-curricular life of the College, which is situated in rural East Hertfordshire.
