An excellent knowledge and understanding of the subject is essential as is a passion for Design Technology/Art. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘students first; raising standards and transforming lives’. 

This role will involve the teaching of Art and DT/graphics in Key Stage 3 in the first instance.

We are an 11-16 academy based in the large, north-east town of Middlesbrough.

The academy received a good judgement in their 2017 Ofsted inspection. However in July 2022 the academy was given a notice to improve judgement. Leadership has significantly changed and a comprehensive improvement plan has been implemented to secure sustainable long term change for the academy. It is an exciting time to join the academy’s committed team and join them on this important improvement journey.
