Hall Cross Academy is a large ‘good’ 11-18 comprehensive school based on two sites within Doncaster. The Academy caters for 2,000 students, including over 500 in the sixth form. This makes us one of the largest schools in England.
Our focus at Hall Cross is on pupil wellbeing, personalised curriculum offer and academic progress. Pupils are supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential. We are committed to improvement and development and strive to achieve outstanding status.
We are hoping to appoint an enthusiastic and talented practitioner with a real passion for their subject. The successful candidate will ideally be able to teach all disciplines at Key Stage 3 and product design and food at Key Stages 4 and 5, including examination groups. Some art experience will be beneficial. We can offer an exciting opportunity to join an enthusiastic team of committed practitioners working to continually raise students’ standards and aspirations.

About Hall Cross Academy
Hall Cross Academy is a large successful 11-18, split site, mixed comprehensive serving the Hyde Park, Bessacarr and Cantley areas of Doncaster. One campus is located in Bessacarr and caters for students at Key Stage 3 and the other campus is located in the town centre and caters for Key Stage 4 and 5 students. We provide a friendly stimulating environment for approximately 2000 students across the two sites. The sixth form is large and currently has over 500 students.
