TEACHER OF ENGINEERING / STEM

We require an outstanding teacher of Engineering/Construction/Design and Technology to join a committed and specialist department. The successful applicant will join an experienced department with an excellent track record.
We are looking for a lively and engaging teacher with a passion for Design and Technology. The ability to motivate and stretch students, instilling a genuine enthusiasm for the subject is essential. You will need to be a committed team player and have excellent relationships with students. You will also bring new ideas to learning in Technology, Engineering and STEM at all levels and will contribute to raising the profile of the subject even further through extra-curricular activities. There are many opportunities to do this in the department, for example in the Greenpower challenge.
We offer construction, engineering and design technology to year 10 and 11 in specialist facilities housing state of the art equipment. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of engineering and construction in the department. A TLR is available for suitable candidates. At KS5 we offer Design Technology and students achieve superb results, this role would expect you to contribute to improving these results even further. This is an exciting opportunity to develop engineering, construction and design technology in a great department.

Based in Northumberland, Cramlington Learning Village is a mainstream secondary school for children aged between 11 and 18. It is non-denominational. The school has gained academy status.
