Our Design Technology department is committed to developing students who are creative thinkers and independent learners. The department work together to ensure that they provide a creative curriculum which challenges students to develop their technical understanding and practical skills. The department is currently looking to expand its provision and new and exciting applied courses are being planned for the next academic year.
The successful applicant will be a hardworking and enthusiastic professional with excellent subject knowledge.
We would welcome applicants who:
• Are driven to engage and work with enthusiastic and committed students
• Currently are or have the potential to be an outstanding practitioner in teaching Design Technology
• Have excellent subject knowledge in the focus areas of Product Design and/or Engineering that extends across all key stages
• A working knowledge of BTEC programmes in either Art & Design (Product Design route) or Engineering
