These values underpin our educational and pastoral offer, providing a strong moral compass to our diverse, international community made up of students from nearly sixty countries around the world.

Beau Soleil currently offers curricular programmes in both English and French. Students follow the IB MYP, IBDP (English and French) or IB Courses. Students also participate in a world class programme of service learning, adventure and expeditions, designed to build their personal resilience, character and compassion.

Our teachers are passionate about their subjects and work together to produce exceptional results. Creativity and innovation, energy and high expectations shape our approach. Professional development and training opportunities abound, and we believe in growing talent and supporting great teachers in their career paths.

Our pastoral team is devoted to the welfare of boarders. Every effort is made to ensure that students have access to the best services, emotional support and a warm family atmosphere whilst they are at school. All teachers play an important role as tutor in one of the five boarding houses, coaching students and supporting the boarding team.

Students and staff share a real sense of pride in the school and its achievements: a pride that we hope you will see if you visit us for interview.

Your Profile

Sharing your enthusiasm for Design Technology and STEM, this role is ideal for a teacher who is looking to make their mark and build on a programme that is both extraordinary and innovative. Leading the learning of students aged 11 to 16 in Design Technology, you will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with the ability to transmit your passion and knowledge to inspire the next generation of engineers, designer makers and artisans. Working under the direction of the Faculty Leader, you will be responsible for curriculum development, implementation of STEM activities and theme based projects. You will enjoy working with a range of abilities, ages and nationalities.

Amongst other things, you’ll be well organised, have a good sense of humour and will want to participate fully in the extracurricular aspects of school life including the boarding house as well as the classroom. We have a comprehensive learning programme that includes Saturday morning academics and exciting challenges ranging from climbing 4000m peaks to night time ski racing. Ideally, you will already have a basic level of French language and be keen to develop your language skills.

In addition to being highly successful in its own right, College Alpin Beau Soleil is a member of the Nord Anglia Education family of premium international schools. This means you’ll be joining an international team in which thoughts and ideas are shared around the globe as we strive to make our schools the very best in the world. You will have the security and opportunities that come from being part of a high quality global organisation dedicated to education and professional development.

Salary and Benefits

In return for your passion to deliver the highest quality all-round boarding education you will enjoy a competitive salary, and places in the school for your children. You will also have the opportunity to live and work in the stunningly beautiful Swiss Alpine ski resort of Villars sur Ollon.

Here at College Alpin Beau Soleil, we are a close knit team who are proud of our school and boarding community.
