We are looking for a qualified and talented Teacher of Design Technology to teach across the ability range to GCSE, and A Level. We offer the ability to teach DBE and PCP at Key Stage 4 and 5. You will be working with and supported by an experienced team of strong teachers and leaders.  We would be particularly interested in someone who could teach some construction (up to BTEC Level 2) alongside the requirements outlined above.  This post would be 4 days a week, but we would be willing to consider applications of exceptional NQTs on a 5 day week basis to support with completing induction.

We welcome applications from newly qualified or more experienced teachers that can demonstrate ambition, passion and impact whatever their journey so far.  As an NQT or Beginner Teacher at Heathcote School, you will be supported by experienced colleagues on a range of issues relating to planning, teaching and assessing with a dedicated mentor and a skills development programme that will provide you with the experience required to be a successful practitioner in education.  

You will be working with and supported by an experienced team of strong teachers and leaders.

The school has excellent resources and a stunning, spacious site on the edge of Epping Forest including a staff car park and surrounding roads that do not require a parking permit.   We are also a 15 minute walk from Chingford Station which has great links into the City. Staff are friendly and events take place out of school, such as the Three Peaks Challenge, planned for this summer.
