Abraham Guest Academy is a highly successful, co-educational 11-16 Academy with an excellent reputation within the local community. The Academy currently has 808 pupils on roll. Abraham Guest became an Academy on 1st January 2012 sponsored by Winstanley College.
The hours of work are all day Monday, all day Thursday and Friday morning.
Applications are invited from successful Design Technology Teachers who can demonstrate the ability to:

- raise attainment in Design Technology at all levels
- inspire students to love the subject through outstanding teaching

The school is sponsored by Winstanley Sixth Form College, a partnership which has co-existed since 2010.

The leadership and management of teaching, learning and behaviour is highly effective. Pupils feel safe at school and high-quality care is provided particularly for those whose circumstances may make them vulnerable. The curriculum has been adapted well for pupils who need extra help with behaviour, social and emotional skills. The new ‘Engagement Centre’ is supporting pupils’ motivation and learning.”
