An exciting opportunity now exists for an outstanding practitioner to join a successful and supportive team of Performing Arts specialists. We are looking for someone with vision and energy, capable of teaching across the age range to ‘A’ level and inspiring students of all abilities to become involved in curricular and extra-curricular drama.
The successful candidate will either be a Drama specialist or an English teacher with a strong interest and experience of teaching Drama. An interest in another Performing Art would also be an advantage.
The school has excellent facilities for the performing arts. Drama is housed in a £1.2 million Music and Drama block adjacent to the school’s main performance area, the Hollinshead Hall which is capable of staging major productions. The department has a strong tradition of extra-curricular drama and recent productions include ‘Hot Mikado, ‘Oliver’ and ‘Hairspray’.
Applications from experienced, recently qualified and newly qualified teachers welcomed.
