Governors seek to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner who is dedicated to setting high expectations and achieving the highest standards for all. The successful candidate will be required to teach Drama & English across the age and ability range. They will be expected to contribute to the existing good practice of the department and to be part of the school’s journey to being a great school by improving progress and attainment for all.
Ofsted, February 2019, stated:

• Pupils generally work hard during lessons.

St Augustine of Canterbury Catholic High School is a mixed, comprehensive, Roman Catholic secondary school without sixth form situated in Blackbrook, St Helens, Merseyside. It is a voluntary-aided state school under the Diocese of Liverpool.
St Augustine of Canterbury opened in October 1991. A smaller than average secondary school, it provides 750 places for students between the ages of 11 and 16 when fully subscribed.
