Stowe School is a selective Independent Co-Educational Boarding and Day School for children aged 13-18, occupying Stowe House, a ducal palace set within 750 acres of landscaped gardens. Through teaching of the highest calibre, Stoics are encouraged to think for themselves, challenge conventional orthodoxies and pursue their own enthusiasms. Pupils rejoice in the differences that exist between them and the aesthete and the athlete learn to respect each other. A passion for bringing out the unique talents in each pupil lies at the heart of our educational philosophy.

We wish to appoint from September 2020 an inspiring full time Teacher of Drama who demonstrates an intellectual engagement with the subject and is energetic and forward-thinking in approach. This post offers an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious and innovative department, housed in state-of-the-art facilities in the Roxburgh Hall. The successful candidate will be central to the academic delivery of GCSE and A Level examination courses along with playing a key role in the delivery of the exceptional co-curricular Drama programme.
