St George Catholic College is an oversubscribed and growing college, with a proven track record of continued success. We have a vacancy for a Teacher of Performing Arts for September 2019. 

Performing Arts is an impressive department within St George and, for the right candidate, opportunities exist to teach pupils across the school and assist in the delivery of a variety of superb productions. We wish to appoint an outstanding practitioner who can offer vision, energy and creativity in the teaching of Performing Arts. The right candidate would benefit from entering a supportive environment with a wide range of skills, innovation and experience. 

The Performing Arts Department is a consistently ‘Outstanding’ team of fantastic teachers that deliver both GCSE Drama and Dance and the BTEC in Performing Arts.  We are looking to appoint a Drama teacher who has the ability to teach GCSE Drama, BTEC Performing Arts and Dance. 

The Performing Arts department has grown in strength over the past 3 years, not only are our results above national average, but our extra-curricular classes are extremely popular and our whole school productions are a huge calendar event for the college.  There is no requirement to be Catholic and we would welcome NQTs, or more experienced teachers to apply.
