CLASSROOM TEACHER OF DRAMA   

MAIN / UPPER PAY SCALE

Lord Derby Academy opened on 1st February 2014 and is part of the Dean Trust, which has a number of very high performing schools and a proven track record of sustained improvement.

Lord Derby Academy follows a traditional three year Key Stage 3 curriculum and two year Key Stage 4 curriculum.  All Key Stage 3 pupils gain experience of the Expressive Arts and drama, dance, music and film studies are very popular option choices at Key Stage 4.   Enrichment in Expressive Arts is flourishing.     

As Classroom Teacher for Drama you will be part of a vibrant, dedicated and ambitious team.  Staff hold high expectations for all pupils and work tirelessly to ensure the best possible provision for all.  

The successful candidate must have Qualified Teacher Status.  We are highly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils and we expect all our staff to share this commitment. Enhanced DBS vetting procedures are required for all posts.
