At Highbury Grove we are passionate about drama and believe in the premise ‘I am an actor and I act’. Actors are known as Drama Makers with a provision that covers all Key Stages. Students in year 7 and 8 have an hour a week learning the art of acting and in year 9 drama becomes an option where students put their skills into practice through devising and scripted projects as well as behind the scenes work. GCSE Drama is very popular and KS5 Drama and Theatre Studies is growing year on year.
