We are looking to recruit an exceptional Teacher of Drama who will have the opportunity to deliver lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. A well-qualified and passionate individual, the successful candidate will bring enthusiasm and a commitment to supporting pupils achieve the highest levels of academic success. The Drama Department at North Bridge House offers a range of performance opportunities for students. The students have the options of being on stage or backstage allowing them to explore a range of job opportunities within the theatre. The Department collaborates with a range of theatre companies to run workshops, Splendid and The Factory being the most recent, as well as working with professional actors and directors. Drama GCSE is a very popular option choice with many students going on to study it at A-Level.
All staff at North Bridge House are actively involved in the pastoral life of school. There may be the opportunity for a full time position and candidates should clearly state any other subjects they are able to teach. The role will also offer opportunity for further contribution to the varied and vibrant array of extra-curricular programme of clubs and enrichment.
