Is Teaching your passion? Would you like to work at a School that not only encourages progression but also helps to develop you professionally for the next stage of your career?

The staff at Moor Park High School and Sixth Form are a caring, supportive team who are passionate about the well-being of our learning community and are dedicated to ensuring the success of the students and the School. Our most recent Ofsted inspection in September 2021 established that the school is now firmly ‘Good’ and that safety, good behaviour and high expectations permeate every part of school life. The report also notes that; “Teachers enjoy working at the school. They feel valued and supported by senior leaders and governors”.  Visitors to Moor Park consistently comment on the warm, sociable and friendly atmosphere within our School and the polite and enthusiastic nature of our students. We are extremely proud of what we have achieved at Moor Park and are excited about the future ahead

We are therefore looking to appoint an outstanding practitioner who can inspire a future generation and can develop the curriculum to provide a range of learning experiences to meet the needs of our pupils. Candidates will need to demonstrate an exceptional passion for drama and the arts and will be committed to developing the oracy and communication skills of pupils through an exciting curriculum, meaning you will transform the way our pupils see themselves and the world around them. Aside from curriculum teaching across KS3 and KS4, the successful candidate will contribute to the enrichment programme at lunch times and after school. Candidates will be willing and able to contribute to annual whole school concerts and productions and will seek opportunities to collaborate with fellow professionals within the industry to enrich the experience for our pupils. The post is offered on a part-time basis – 0.60 FTE (three days per week).

·        tailored CPD with a strong commitment on developing individual career paths which supports and stimulates professional growth;

·        a School that welcomes new ideas with energy and enthusiasm;

·        a successful and forward looking School with outstanding facilities.

We are looking for someone who:
