We are looking for an enthusiastic and imaginative Drama or Performing Arts Teacher. With your ability to teach Drama and Theatre Studies to GCSE and A level, you will have passion, determination and high standards at all levels, as well as the ability to lead small extra-curricular groups.   

Giving students the opportunity to develop their creative skills is critical to this role, along with a proactive approach in encouraging young people to engage in Performing Arts. Working within our Arts College, you will deliver creative and engaging lessons to our students to inspire them and progress their learning and academic achievement.  

We invest in our staff and you will be given a full induction programme and the support you require to progress, wherever you are in your career. All teaching staff are provided with an IT device, enjoy discounts and offers with Kent Rewards and we have an independent nursery on-site which offers discounts to Homewood Staff. About Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre

Homewood School & Sixth Form Centre is a mixed 11 – 18 wide ability school with Academy status with 2,100 students including 350 in the Sixth Form. We are part of Tenterden Schools’ Trust working in collaboration with local primary schools serving the Wealden town of Tenterden and the surrounding villages. The school is situated on the edge of Tenterden and enjoys a large semi-rural site overlooking open countryside.  

Homewood has excellent facilities for all its students and our specialisms in Performing Arts, Applied Learning and the Rural Dimension underpin our approaches to learning which are designed to raise achievement across the whole student body.
