Job overview
At the Quest we know that having great people is our biggest asset and we work very hard to make sure that the posts we offer, the professional development we provide and the environment we create are the cornerstones of a highly successful Academy on a journey from ‘good’ to ‘outstanding’.
We opened our sixth form, Quest6 in 2012 and moved into stunning new buildings in 2014, providing the very best facilities for our staff and students.
We are a very successful Academy. We have doubled in size since we opened, are regularly oversubscribed and achieve excellent results in all key stages.
We have been rated Good in all areas by Ofsted in both 2015 and 2018 and are now on our journey to being outstanding.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled teacher to join our vibrant Technology Faculty which currently consists of 2 full time specialist teachers, 1 Design and Technology technician, and 1 Food technician. The Faculty is an extremely well supported and enjoyable place to work. All staff are keen to share good practice and are supportive of one another. All full-time teachers are expected to teach across the age and ability range up to Key Stage 5. This is an exciting time to join our faculty as we are expanding our provision. We are therefore looking for a suitably qualified teacher with the ability to teach Design and Technology from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
We value our staff, we have first rate professional development recognised by the CPLD Gold Quality Mark and have created a purposeful campus where we work hard and work together to achieve excellence inside and outside of the classroom, valuing academic achievement and personal growth.
