We are looking to recruit a Teacher of DT/Textiles to cover maternity leave from September 2017.
Bitterne Park School is a popular and oversubscribed school. As an established “Teaching School” we can offer a wide range of exciting and inspiring opportunities for staff to develop and progress. We are also undergoing a new school build and look forward to moving in Autumn 2017. The years ahead will be exciting and we are seeking to recruit an innovative and committed teacher to join us on this journey.
The Design Faculty oversees the visual Arts and Design subjects. With 6 full time leaders, 2 technicians and other teachers who support the Design Faculty. We are a strong supportive group who enjoy working together in championing our area and enabling students to achieve the very best and high levels of creative imagination in the many mediums and medias we teach. We constantly seek to develop our practice and look to use new creative developments both in our areas and in teaching and learning. As well as a purposeful and busy KS3 in Art & Design, Photography, Textiles and Food & Nutrition. At GCSE and A level we are an important and popular choice for our students to study further having had excellent KS4 results and many successful students go on to Arts foundation and degree courses.
