We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic, talented and flexible colleague to teach EAL throughout the School from April 2020. The successful candidate should have an interest in language and linguistics and have relevant experience of teaching EAL across the curriculum to FCE/IGCSE/IELTS Level. Applicants will:
- have a degree and be CELTA qualified (or equivalent qualification) with experience in teaching teenagers in this field
- high standard of professionalism
- be able to work at a fast pace and cope efficiently with record keeping other administrative duties as well as teaching
- be flexible around the exact working days.
Teachers with a DELTA (or equivalent qualification) and experience at teaching international examinations such as FCE and IELTS are particularly welcome to apply.
The post requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills and candidates should expect to work with students on an individual and group basis in order to support their learning. The opportunity to teach in other subject areas may be possible.
