Teacher of Economics (and Business)

As a result of both the continued growth in popularity of Business and Economics and the internal career progression of existing colleagues, we are able to offer an exciting opportunity for a keen and committed teacher to join this well-established and extremely successful department.
You may be an NQT or existing teacher looking for a change of environment and the chance to specialise in A Level teaching. Alternatively, you might be looking for a move to an institution with greater opportunities for career progression – the current Head of Department joined the College as a teacher two years ago and the previous Head of Department recently joined the senior leadership team. Either way, great support awaits you at this highly regarded Sixth Form College.
You must have a lively and stimulating approach to teaching and learning; a commitment to equality of opportunity, and the learning and well-being of young people. Whatever your level of experience, you will be joining a welcoming team with a wealth of experience to share. Whilst we will be glad to consider applications from teachers of either subject, our ideal candidate will be an Economics teacher who also has the ability to confidently deliver some Business teaching. Hills Road Sixth Form College is one of the top-performing Sixth Form Colleges in the country. We offer a forward-thinking, collaborative and supportive working environment, with thoroughly engaged and enthusiastic students. We hope you will consider joining us for your next career step.
