Rosebery School is a highly successful, oversubscribed and vibrant girls’ 11-18 school with 1450 students, including 250 in the Sixth Form.  Business Studies and Economics are increasingly popular choices for Rosebery students and we are therefore seeking an excellent classroom practitioner to bring passion and enthusiasm to the department who will teach proactive and focused lessons at KS4 for Business and KS5 for Economics and Business with the highest expectations of pupil outcomes.

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach Economics to students in Years 12 and 13.
  • Teach Business Studies to students in KS4 and KS5. 
  • Deliver lessons which enrich and engage all students taught.
  • Plan lessons carefully, having regard to the schemes of work and faculty practice. 
  • Cover for absent colleagues within the ‘rarely cover’ parameters within which we work.
  • Work as a full member of the Social Sciences faculty team, working with others to promote good practice in the faculty, to create teaching resources and to develop consistent approaches. 
  • Assess student work to monitor and evaluate progress and to  set targets for improvement
  • Drive attainment and progress for all students taught, tracking progress and intervening where appropriate​
