Due to the expansion of our Secondary School we are looking for new staff to join us. Starting August 2018, we have a vacancy for a:

Teacher of Economics and Ethics (approx. 0.9 fte)

Requirements

  • Fully qualified teacher status (for example UK QTS through a PGCE or its equivalent) to teach Economics and Ethics
  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree (Hons) in the subject of Economics and Ethics or equivalent
  • Experience in teaching Economics and Ethics up to university entrance level
  • English at a C2 fluency level (for non-native level applicants)
  • Good ICT skills and an understanding of ICT use in an educational context

Recommendations

  • Experience in teaching in an international context
  • Experience in working with pupils whose first or second language may not be English
  • Knowledge of other EU languages is an advantage
  • Experience teaching Economics and Ethics or the equivalent to EB, IB or GCE A level
  • A willingness to be involved in extra-curricular activities
